PIVOT

We all love great food and many of us love to cook - just not 3 times a day for weeks, perhaps for a full house and most likely with on-going paid and unpaid work responsibilities.

Launched in 2020, Pivot aimed to provide some or all of the weekly meal planning, shopping and preparation by providing meal kits or prepared meals. We used the best ingredients that we could find - organic or local - to support local purveyors and farmers. This was home-cooked food - a little lighter, a little simpler than restaurant food - exactly how our chefs prepared for their own families.

Your participation in this program helped local chefs and cooks, displaced from their usual place of employment, pay their bills until our city re-opened.
