Preventive Medical and Mental Health Care for All Genders
A primary goal of IHWSH is to ensure access to preventive healthcare for anyone in the food and beverage industry. Cost free services include:
Comprehensive, gender-appropriate annual check-up, including any needed lab work, cancer screening, routine vaccines.
For individuals over 35, annual mammogram at The Rose for the early detection of breast cancer.
For depression, anxiety and other mental health concerns, one-on-one counseling services and peer support groups.
For individuals facing infertility, counseling with a specialist is available.
For pregnant people in need of prenatal care and assistance with enrollment with Medicaid, we can expedite this process. We have a pilot program providing Doula services, from prenatal, through labor and deliver, and post-partum.
For pregnant people in need of information about abortion, we can help in accordance with applicable law.
We have pilot programs for physical fitness and intensive outpatient therapy.
